Sendai in Prague

We took Prague employees to the beautiful city of Sendai during time of Aoba Matsuri spring festival. Besides possibility to explore the city via visiting Aoba dori, Ichibanchou and Kokubunchou resemblings in the room layout and via screen shows, attendees could as well enjoy festive events of Aoba Matsuri festival performed by Czech Japan association (Taiko drums) and by internal employees (Suzume odori / Sparrow dance and “Ue o muite arukou”, famous Japanese song sang by event organizers). Regardless the building was shaking to the drum beat, passionate crane folders didn’t get carried away from their goal and continued folding cranes till the chain was complete.
The atmosphere of the event was yet intensified by having our kind guest, cultural attaché of Embassy of Japan, sitting side by side to our colleagues, and folding many cranes to contribute our chain.
All attandees could as well enjoy tasty Japanese cousine as well as try making their own salmon and tuna sushi roll.
Everybody enjoyed the culture of Japan and city of Sendai to the maximum and was leaving the room with warm place in the heart for the great people of Japan.
